Nacrobats Is truly what Chicago underground Hip-Hop in the 90’s was about dope beats, bars, and sounding unique. Following in the footsteps of Common, All Natural and The Molemen. The Nacrobats became an institution for upcoming rappers, producers, dancers, artist, and party promoters of the time. Their DIY aesthetic and over 40+ releases (solo and as a collective) have laid the ground work for many artists there today. This compilation scratches the surface of some of the best music they recorded over the First 10 years or so. Crowd favorites and Cult classics Like Century 21, Paperz, Be like you, and Rock the world are all included. "Thanks 4 Not Rhyming" is the debut full-length album from Pugslee Atomz, originally released by Galapagos4 in 2000 on cassette format.
CDR released by Pugs Atomz's on Enohes Music. The album almost didn't happened when Kenny Key's 4track caught fire in the studio as JW was starting to master the tracks. We had to rerecord some records and improvise to make are deadline. The Promo was gorilla hand to hand sales every mom and pop store annd any and all concert, and festivals that would let us post up and sellout.

As the leader of the Nacrobats crew (1993-2003), Pugslee has done a lot to help Chicago’s evolving underground scene. On his first major full length release, Thanks 4 Not Rhyming, Pugs continues this tradition by bringing a solid album to the table with fellow Nacro members Qwazaar, Cosmo Galactus, Prime, Robust, Unkle Butta, Da Man Who, Chips Pentium, and Pkaye all coming through with guest verses. With booming production from the Mole men's Panik, Meaty Ogre, Polyphonic, as well as some of Nacros heavy's like Kenny Keys, Strange Frequency and Creative Operator.
